I daresay we’ve heard a bit about original sin, but not nearly enough about original glory, which comes before sin and is deeper to our nature.
God himself-the King of all creation-takes on human flesh and enters our Story as one of us. He sets aside his glory, clothes himself with humility, and sneaks into the enemy camp,

What a difference it makes to find that the heart of all things is, in fact, just that-a Heart. A personality. Or better, a fellowship of hearts. Community. Trinity. In other words, reality is relational to its core.
He gives us the greatest treasure in all creation: a heart. For he intends that we should be his intimate allies, to borrow Dan Allender’s phrase, who join in the Sacred Circle of intimacy that is the core of the universe, to share in this great Romance.
